We are an environmentally-oriented group of people who purchased 232 acres
on the inner part of Hemming Bay on East Thurlow Island in 1979. The
property includes about a mile of salt waterfront, lakefront, and the two
outlets from Hemming Lake. Our goals are to help preserve the ecology of
the area and to provide a place for our members to vacation. We have a
good dock, an 1,800 sq. ft. lodge with electricity (from our mini-hydro) and
